Great news. After several months of writing, and editing and designing and proofreading, and technology busting, and banging my head against the wall and waiting on things I couldn’t control……it’s done.
For the past 3 months or so, I have been consumed with the production of a training book that Julianna and I wrote for the direct sales industry on Lead Generation Tactics. To say that that we made some mistakes along the way would be an understatement! So, for those of you who were wondering where I have been or why I haven’t been blogging it’s been because I got ridiculously consumed by the development of this product.
I believe that one of the most important things to recognize as an Entrepreneur is where you can improve and my mistake was this: I spent far too much time focusing on things that did not play to my strengths (i.e. trying to write html code, web programming, etc). Rather, I should have been far better about outsourcing, and dedicating my time to the things I am good at like networking, building relationships and designing new programs.
But at the end of the day, today is the culmination of why I choose to be an Entrepreneur. Our product is complete, people are excited about it and it is going to serve and assist a large amount of people. Were there days where I wasn’t sure why I chose to start this thing? Absolutely. Have we sold a million copies? Nope, not yet. However, and I really want to stress this: it is imperative that you celebrate your successes.
Anyhow, I just wanted to post this quick blog more for myself really than anything else. I’m excited to see where we go from here…all I know is that this is why I do it.
If you are at all interested in seeing a preview of what we put together and what to expect, here is a free gift from me to you http://kickassmlmleadtactics.com

than it is to make an effort.”
I wrote this note awhile back and the realized that I wanted to re-post it for one major reason. The other day on Facebook I posted a question and asked people “What is one thing you will do today, in order to stretch yourself beyond what you normally do?” I was just kind of trying to understand why so few people answered the question. Is it because they have things they know they are capable of and yet make excuses not to attempt? Anyhow, it brought me back to this note I put together a few months back:
I would imagine that any one who is reading this has goals, desires and dreams.
How many of you, if you had it to do over again, believe you could create things and make decisions that would allow you have a different set of circumstances then you have right now?
How may of you believe, that if “it weren’t for this, or it weren’t for that,” things might be different?
How many of you are doing all the things you want to be doing and are unequivocally living the lifestyle you feel you deserve?
How many of you are willing to look yourself in the mirror and honestly ask yourselves “Am I doing everything necessary to accomplish my goals?”
More importantly, how many of you are willing to recognize the answer that the reflection in the mirror undoubtedly will give you?
Last Question, What’s Stopping You?
No matter your answer to the last question just remember, that it is ALWAYS easier to make excuses, than it is to make an EFFORT.

One of the things I most value as an entrepreneur is not having to feel the pain of a Monday. The real beauty of it all, is that my life has become more about one long all encompassing day, or journey. The minute I switched my mindset and surrendered to this concept, was exactly when my life began to change.
Now, that is not to say that I do not believe in being organized in order to be successful. However, there is something to be said about allowing ourselves to be controlled simply by a day of the week or month of the year. All to often I hear people complain about the fact that it’s Monday. Think about that for a second, people dread the fact that they actually GET to do it again!
Some of you may be wondering “then why count every day of this challenge,?” Because if you had the ability to picture your life as one long day, you would find ways to make that day exciting, considering the length of it, wouldn’t you?! Inside of my mini-day today, I focused on web design, content editing and more for our soon-to-be-released product launch. The anticipation is exhilarating to say the least.
I want to challenge any of you who are reading this to no longer consider the perils of a “Monday,” yet take on every morning with the intention and understanding that it is another opportunity. An opportunity for what exactly, is entirely up to you!

I “worked” all day today…kinda. Well, not really. I spent the entire day with Julianna and my good friend and very talented graphic artist Cory Jim. We went around all of Irvine shooting photos for our soon to be released product.
Most of you are probably saying “sounds like work to me.” I beg to differ. See, when you choose to build your own dream, and your own business and you are passionate about it, it’s no longer work!
Today was a matter of putting in sweat equity. Would I have rather been at home watching football? Or perhaps at a bar having some beers? Absolutely not! This afternoon brought us one step closer. One step closer to having every day feel like Sunday.

There is nothing quite like the nostalgia of being a kid again. Today my friends and I went Go-Kart racing and it was awesome!
We had two races, both lasting about 10 mintues….but it felt like so much more. I think the part I loved most, was the freedom I felt on the track. It was an incredible sensation to clear my mind and literally just “GO.” All to often I would argue, we find ourselves overly caught up inside our own minds rather than just surrendering our innate abilities.
Go-Kart racing, though you may not believe it is a huge metaphor for this. On the track, it was just me and the course. There was no time to “think things over,” or “wait to make a decison.’ My natural inclinations took over and I simply trusted. The end result? A powerful feeling of knowing, that as long as I trust myself to drive the course I will always end up at the finish line.

I spent the majority of my day catching up on a variety of knick-nknack things. Getting email addresses set up, working on getting the business automated, etc. A few phone calls here and there, but mainly minor things.
What I loved most about a day like today, was the reminder of the love I have for owning my own business and working when I choose to. Please don’t mistake that for not working. The reality of the situation, however is that as an entrepreneur my income is dependent on my performance. That performance does not have to come between the hours of 9am-5pm. In fact, a great deal of my “best work,” comes when most are sleeping or relaxing. I have always been a believer in the idea that as long as it gets done well, and meets a deadline then it doesn’t matter when you choose to do it!
I gotta admit though, this cleanse has certainly thrown me for a loop as I feel somewhat disoriented! Ok, with that in mind, back to product design and implementation. Night!

This evening we attended a very interesting seminar on removing blocks from your past which affect your present as well as your future.
The concept is really about what you don’t know, that you don’t know! I’m actually quite excited to learn more from the group as the premise is this: What could you create if you were to remove your blocks and create a space of infinite possibility?
One of my greatest blocks is procrastination and the big question is what could be created in a space where procrastination no longer existed? The answer, for me, pure freedom.

Pronounced PA-Cha-Ka. Pecha Kucha is An open forum of ideas, Pecha Kucha is a slidenight for architects, designers, entrepreneurs, artists, studentsâŻanyone with something creative to share. To keep things snappy, each presenter is given approximately 6 minutes to present 20 slides.
Pecha Kucha (which is Japanese for the sound of conversation) has tapped the need for a forum in which creative work can be shared easily and informally. It was very cool and I want to figure out how I can speak at the next one!!
It’s a fascinating concept that forces the speaker to really know their material. Looking forward to the next one!

Julianna and I took a mental health day today. One of the things I love the most about being an Entrepreneur is that I work on my clock and my clock only.
So, this afternoon we caught two films Where The Wild Things Are and Paranormal Activity. Here is my brief opinion on both:__________________________
In my view they really were both poor and don’t deserve much more attention.
We also started a Cleanse today. All we are eating for 5 days, is a combination of fruits and vegetables in small portions, to clean all the toxins out of our bodies. It’s definitely going to be a challenge within the challenge!

This morning we headed down to San Diego and participated in the Green Expo. It was a pretty cool event, especially considering it was their first one.
For me, the best part was seeing how many companies are truly striving to make a difference. The reality is that our world is at a crossroads and it is going to take serious thought-leaders to take it in a new direction. I spent the majority of the day down there meeting some of the other vendors and making some great new connections.
That night we ate dinner at a really cool restaurant in the Gaslamp district called the StripClub. You get to cook your own steaks and it was awesome!
